Things I'll Never Say...

So this was on a survey and I thought it was kind of cool. It's things I (Ali) want to say to different people, but I probably never actually will:

1. I never feel like I thank you enough.

2. You didn't let me get hurt, but I'm afraid I'm going to lose you.

3. You're annoying me so much right now but i love you anyway :)

4. I'm the luckiest girl in the world because I have you

5. I'm glad we're friends

6. He's Peter Pan riding Maria, the pink anorexic unicorn. HAHA and I'm Wendy. You're all the lost boys :D Morganne's tinkerbelle, he's captain hook... haha good times how do you come up with that?

7. I miss you and I'm sorry. I thought I would be ok but I'm not. I really don't want to go on like this. Call me again, write me, I'll fly there if I have to, but you're the only one who can help me.

8. I promise I'm trying, I think things are getting better :) Remember?.. YEAH!

9. I'm so excited! It's going to make things feel like they're coming to an end though :( We'll make it a great time before we all have to leave it.

10. You didn't let it stop you. You kept going and look how far you've come! You're my hero :)

11. Do you miss any of us at all?

12. I wish it was easier for us to talk to eachother.

13. Did you really mean it when you said that? ..Have you been thinking about it since and realized that you may have been wrong?

14. life ruiner haha that's not really something i'll never say. I say it everytime i see you

15. do you know?

What Defines Me...

I'm kinda just feeling in the mood to post my very favorite saying/quote/poem of all time, and it basically describes and defines my life. So here goes:

Put Something In

by Shel Silverstein

Draw a crazy picture,
Write a nutty poem,
Sing a mumble-grumble song,
Whistle through your comb.
Do a loony-goony dance
'Cross the kitchen floor,
Put something silly in the world,
That ain't been there before.

Don't ya just love it? ;)

My Favorite Movies (Ali)

So I'm really bored and I feel like posting something...but I don't know what.
Here is another list, it's my favorite movies with my favorite lines:

1. The Italian Job Oh boy, is this an awesome movie or what? Definitley number one on my list. I don't know what I love about it. The actors are great, it has humor, it's action-packed, the mini coopers are awesome! I don't really know what to say about it (which, stinks because it's the best movie ever) except if you haven't seen it then you need to stop reading this post right now and watch it.

-"This dude got dogs, I don't do dogs. I had a- a bad experience."
-"What happened?"
-" I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. Dang it, I'M deaf."

2. Goal! The Dream Begins A great movie for the soccer lover. That's not true--it's a great movie for any sports lover. It basically showed that it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, or how much money you have. If you have a dream and you follow it, it can come true. Even though it was just a movie, I think it had a great message.

-"Do I need to bring my ID or something?"
-"Identification?"
-"Yeah, like how old you have to be to get a drink here in England?"
-"....eleven"

3. Matilda haha yeah, Matilda. It is such a cute movie. Mara Wilson was great. Her character is so smart and funny, and she just makes you laugh. I don't know if very many people my age would think it's a good movie....but I still love it! Yeah-it's not a great movie to watch if you're hanging out with your friends or whoever but maybe on one of those nights when you are stuck babysitting your 4-year-old niece, nephew, brother, sister, whoever. Matilda just makes you smile! :)

-"No more miss nice girl."

4. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Total chick flick, I know. It's really good though. I used to love to watch it with my 3 best friends because we all felt like we could relate to how they felt. It's just a great movie about friendship and growing up.

-"Are you scared? "
-"Not of dying, really It's more that I'm afraid of time. And not having enough of it. Time to figure out who I'm supposed to be... to find my place in the world before I have to leave it. I'm afraid of what I'll miss."

5. She's the Man. This movie is so funny! Amanda Bynes is so good. She's so sarcastic and she just gets you cracking up! And it's about the best sport ever! Can't get much better than that. There are so many funny lines in that movie, I think I have to do more than one.

-"So, uh, you play the beautiful game... bros... brothers... brethren? "
---------------------------------
-" I gotta go change my feet."
---------------------------------
-" So, uh, do you... like cheese? "
-"More than any other animal by-product. "

haha so much more......

6. School of Rock I don't know about you guys but I love this movie. A lot of people think it is the stupidest thing ever but I think it's way funny! I like Jack Black.....sometimes, not very often. In this, he was really good. There are a lot of funny comments and just the plot itself is funny.

-"Sell my guitars? Would you tell Picasso to sell his guitars?"
-----------------------------------
- "Nailed it. And fifty-four is forty-five more than what is the answer, Marta? "
-"Nine. "
-"No, it's eight."
-" ...No, it's nine."
-" ...Yes, I was testing you... it's nine. And that's a magic number."
---------------------------

7. A Walk To Remember Yes, another chick flick. The book was written by my favorite author so I couldn't wait when the movie came out. Mandy Moore is a great actress and singer. She went from being the snobby bratty girl in The Princess Diaries to the quiet, shy, good girl in A Walk To Remember. It's about Jamie and Landon who are two completely opposite people, who then learn to like eachother, and later fall in love. It's a great movie for any girl, and I've heard from guys who think it's pretty good too! And no...they aren't on the fruity side, I promise.

*Spoiler (sorry but it's my favorite part)

-"Do you love me?"

[Jamie nods]

-"Will you do something for me, then?"

-"Anything."

-"Will you marry me?"

8.Finding Nemo Does anybody else still love this movie or am I the only one? I really need to go watch this, I haven't seen it in ages. What else can I say about it? I'm pretty sure everyone has seen this. If you haven't.....that's a problem.

The last lines in the movie

-" We did it!"

[pause]

-"Now what?"

9. The Longest Yard I know this movie isn't the cleanest. It's really crude and it has really bad language....well duh, it has Adam Sandler in it. I still find it really funny though. There are a lot of funny characters in it, and I thought it kind of showed a different side of Adam Sandler than the other movies I've seen him in. Another good one that had that same effect on me of him was Spanglish...in case anyone wants to know.

- He broke-ded my nose

-Let me try to fix that. [Crewe fixes his nose]

-How do I look?

-Much better, more distinguished. Kind of like a young Michael Jackson.

-I love little Mikey

10. Underworld It's about vampires and wearwolves. I don't know why I like it, because normally I don't think that would really interest me. One time my dad and I found it on tv and I really liked it! It is about how there is a war going on between the vampires and the wearwolves (Lycans). Then a human gets involved, and the Lycans are trying to capture him. Then a vampire (the main character) falls in love with him, and there is a lot to explain, so I'll just say it's a great movie! I would say it's mostly an action/adventure movie, not really a romance like I made it sound. So another great movie to see!

I don't really have a favorite line :( sorry

-So those were my top 10 favorite movies. Ok-well after number 3, it probably wasn't the most accurate, they were just the movies that were coming to my head. I'm sure I'll think of one soon that should've been on that list, but anyway, if you haven't seen any of those, you should definitley watch them! Oh, and if someone has an idea on something to post, let me know because I'm already out of ideas.

Random Points to Ponder

So, I'm(morganne) really bored. And I've had a crappy day/week, and I don't feel like doing anything but putting something kinda stupid on our blog. So what?

Random points to ponder...

If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill themself, is it considered a hostile situation?

Is there another word for synonym?

Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?

When sign-makers go on strike, is there anything written on their signs?

Where do forest rangers go to "get away from it all"?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

What happens when an endangered animal eats and endangered plant?

Would a fly without wings be called a walk?

If a turtle doesn't have a shell, is it homeless? Or naked?

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Can vegetarians eat animal crackers?

When the police arrest a mime, do they tell them they have the right to remain silent?

Why do they put Braille on the drive-thru ATM machines?

Why do they sterilize the needles for lethal injections?

Why do kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Why do toasters have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no human being would eat?

Why is there a light in the fridge, but not in the freezer?

Can a hearse carrying a corpse drive in the carpool lane?

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Is DisneyWorld the only people-trap operated by a mouse?

Hmm....And there you go.

Our very first "song list"!!

We seem to like these lists, and so we decided to do one about our favorite verses, in our favorite songs. So here goes. (You can guess which songs they come from if you want; otherwise, we're slaving away for you...for nothing. But, you decide.)

Morganne: (btw, all these songs are my very favorites, but I might have forgotten some. oops.)

1. Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder. Don't ya know? The hardest part is over...

2. You've got the music in you; one dance left, this world is gonna pull through. Don't give up, you've got a reason to live.

3. We are who we were when; could have been lovers, but at least you're still my day late friend.

4. Although I was blinded, my heart let me find out that truth makes a better man.

5. If you had one shot, one opportunity, to cease everything you've ever wanted, one moment, would you capture it, or just let it slip?

6. I used to think that I could not go on, and life was nothing but an awful song. But now I know the meaning of true love...

7. Why do things that matter the most, never end up cutting close. Now that I find out, it aint so bad; I dont think I knew what I had....Suddenly, I don't feel so insecure anymore.

8. It's not about the salary, it's all about reality and making some noise - Making the story.

9. If I was crying in the van, with my friend, it was for freedom from myself and from the land.

10. I'm too weak to be strong, I can't be the only one holding on till the day you find me.

11. Let the hurricane set in motion; let the rain of what I feel right now come down. Let the rain come down.

12. Oily marks appear on walls where pleasure moments hung before. The takeover, the sweeping insensitivity of this still life.

13. But when the night is falling, and you cannot find the light; if you feel your dream is dying, hold tight.

14. Carry all your thoughts across an open field. When flowers gaze at you, they're not the only ones who cry when they see you.

15. Every day's a new day, there's still time for you: time to buy and time to choose.

Ali:

So I'm thinking that a couple of these should be pretty easy...but 1 or 2 of these will probably be songs that guys don't listen to. Anyway, see if you can guess them!

1. If love is a labor, I'll slave 'till the end. I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand.

2. (This should be easy) We won't hear a word they say, they don't know us anyway.

3. She better hold him tight, give him all her love. Look in those beautiful eyes, and know she's lucky 'cause...

4. Looking at you, holding my breath. For once in my life, I'm scared to death.

5. Mmm what'd you say. Ooh that you only meant well, ah of course you did.

6. Like it or not, it's the way it's gotta be. You gotta love yourself if you can ever love me.

7. I just want to be where you are tonight, I run in the dark looking for some light, How will we know if we just don't try, We won't ever know.

8. It's better to say too much, than never to say what you need to say again. Even if your hands are shaking, And your faith is broken. Even as the eyes are closin', Do it with a heart wide open.

9. Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.

10. I've been asleep for a while now. You tucked me in just like a child now. Cause every time you hold me in your arms, I'm comfortable enough to feel your warmth

11. oh well, whatcha waiting for? it's alright', cause there's beauty in the breakdown

12. I'm alone, on my own, and that's all I know. Oh I'll be strong, I'll be wrong, oh but life goes on

13. And it's a winding road. It's a long way home. So don't wait for someone to tell you it's too late

14. I can not wait for a new improved way to let you know you're more to me than I know how to say

15. This could be the last time. It's a chance to fix mistakes. One more for the last time. Don't you throw our dreams away. Don't waste this chance with your smile.

A Year to Remember--Morganne

Yo. So here I am, at the start of a new year, summing up all the great and exciting events in the awesome time span I like to call 2007. These 10 events are the most important/most influential events that happened to me in this past year. So...enjoy taking a journey through the most important times to me, during 2007.

btw, they go in order of least importance to greatest importance.

10. Changing from our family's white truck, to our new red truck...or monster. (it's also known as the "sex machine", if that rings any bells...)

9. Getting my new Siberian Husky, Koda! Sure, it sucks to have another dog die :(, but getting a new dog is just too much fun!

8. HAVING MY BROTHER GRADUATE FROM HIGHSCHOOL!! Honestly, I really didn't think he could do it.

My brother's a dork.

7. Finishing Jr. High/Starting High School. Friends. Drama. You gotta love it, right??

6. Viewmont Lady Vikes Soccer! I loved playing on the team this year, especially since my freshman year, I didn't get to. So fun.

5. (Not really entirely in 2007, but it was just too much fun to not mention.) Playing on CJH's basketball team for three consecutive years. My favorite year, by far, was my ninth grade year, because I started most games, and there were only three ninth graders! Partay!! I mean, it was a lot of....umm...hard work...

4. Getting back into snowboarding. So, if you didn't know, I LOVE snowboarding! But, for the past two years, I kinda just gave it up. But this year/last year, I've started again, and now I'm lovin it even more than before!

3. My Runnin' Utes. What can I say?? I'm a devoted fan, and 2007 was not a letdown, with the U of U achieving one of the best bowl game records in the country. So, yeah.

2. My favorite sport on water: jetskiing. Love it. Love it! I basically live to jetski! Anytime I went jetskiing this year was an important event to me.

1. Of course, soccer. Soccer basically runs my life, and I can't get enough of it. My team, the Cougars, is my favorite team ever, because we're all so close of friends! And we have taken second or first in so so many of the tournaments we have been in. Here we are at the Dixie Cup, last Thanksgiving (where I cracked my rib...).

And that's my life during 2007 in a nutshell.

A Year to Remember--Ali

What's up everyone? 2008 has come! I can't wait to see what's in store for this new year. New things to try, new people to meet, new places to go, I'm excited! First though, I thought maybe I would write about last year. I know some people like to read lists...I'm not really sure. But, here are some great things that happened to me in 2007. BTW, they aren't in order of how much i enjoyed them, they're just in order of when they happened.

  1. I started out the year 2007 the same way I started out 2008. SNOWBOARDING!!! What better way to start? I got to hang out with my 2 awesome cousins, and see a whole other side of the mountain that I had never been to. It was great!

  2. I graduated from junior high! Yes, I was a little sad to leave all the cool teachers and some younger friends, but I was so excited to start high school!

  3. I got my first real job. Firehouse Pizza. Yeah, it wasn't all fun, and it was very hard work. It taught me a lot of responsibility though, and what the working life is like. They paid pretty well....but that was about the only good thing. I just needed a lot of extra money..which brings me to my next experience:

  4. Definitley the highlight of 2007! England. I went to England in July with my soccer team to go to the Manchester United Soccer School. I got to spend a whole week, doing what I love most, playing soccer. I became a lot closer with my team, and improved in soccer. I also made new friends from around the world, one of them being someone who definitely changed my life.

  5. I made the high school soccer team. Yeah, I must admit, I do like playing club soccer a million times more, but it was a really good experience. I met new people, and learned some stuff from the coaches. I felt like it was a whole different style of play, but it was good to try something different!

  6. Cut drama out of my life. I know this may not be all good, I lost some friends in the process, but its gone. It has been a while since I've come home from being with my friends and had a bad time, so I'm happy about that. I've made a lot of new friends, and have become closer than ever with one who has stuck with me through it all!

  7. I started high school!! I was so excited..and yet really nervous to go to a new school. I love it though. The people, the teachers, and most of the classes are so fun! I also really like how there are 4 classes in a day, and an hour lunch....for most of us anyway. This was a great part of 2007!

  8. Won Turkey Shoot. Wow-what a great feeling. This was a great accomplishment for my team. We worked so hard the second high school season ended. It all paid off! Our prize? COLLEGE SHOWCASE BABY! After a nice holiday break, we are back together and working even harder for the chance to impress college coaches.

  9. The Christmas Dance. That was a fun weekend! It was my very first dance, which I was very excited about. I got to see the beautiful lights at Temple Square, eat a wonderful dinner..thanks to the Turville's, dress up..which I don't do often, and pretty much just hang out with some of my favorite people and have a blast! So thanks to Kelsey for organizing everything, and of course Jordan for making it one of the best weekends!

  10. The Holiday Break. Yeah, i sat around a lot, but I still had fun! I got to hang out with a lot of people, spend time with my family, and of course, celebrate Christmas and New Year's!

So those are most of the great things that I did in 2007, there are much more...I just can't think of them. Plus, I want to make it an even 10. So anyway, here are some pics!

My team after we won Turkey Shoot!

The Christmas Dance :)
